Riyadh-based King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) Customs authorities have succeeded in thwarting a bid to smuggle an amount of 943 grams of heroin hidden in capsules inside a passenger's stomach. Director General of KKIA's Customs, Sultan Al-Faheed stated that a passenger on a flight coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was suspected by customs officers and was subjected to self-inspection and intestines examination's device and the result has already confirmed the test to be positive and he has hidden 120 capsules all containing 943 grams of heroin and legal procedures have been taken against the smuggler.
