Customs at King Abdulaziz International Airport thwart attempt to smuggle heroin

Customs at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah have foiled an attempt to smuggle an amount of heroin weighing 631 grams hidden inside a passenger's bowels and handbag.
The Airport's Director General of Customs Abdullah Al-Falai said that while a customs observer was carrying usual inspection procedures, he found the heroin with an arriving passenger, adding that he took the necessary measures against him.
