King Abdulaziz International Airport Customs in Jeddah has recently succeeded in thwarting two attempts to smuggle a sizable quantity of drugs found hidden inside the bowels of two passengers respectively. The General Director of the customs Hammoud AL-Fallay said conducting an intestines scan testing on a suspect passenger coming on a foreign flight to the Kingdom proved positive that he has swallowed as much as 1141 grams of cocaine, one of the routine ways to smuggle drugs into the country. A similar attempt was foiled by customs officers when a foreign passenger tried to smuggle 695 grams of Heroin as he arrived in the same port.
