Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper said that the 15th session of Joint Defense Council of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States chaired by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense on Tuesday stressed the importance of pushing forward the march of the GCC countries in military and defensive fields in light of a series of challenges facing the Arab Gulf states in the present and future, noting that these challenges threaten the region's security and stability if they are not confronted with a strong military and defensive union including all the countries of the Council. --More
