The activities of the third and final week of the exercise (Arabian Gulf Security 1) kicked off in the Kingdom of Bahrain yesterday, Saturday with the participation of security forces from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States. The head of the Saudi delegation, Major General Moaidh bin Saeed Al-Jaba'an said that the security forces participating in the tactical drill (Arabian Gulf Security 1) have ended their second week of the joint security exercises in accordance with the approved training program, during which the elements of participating forces showed harmony in the implementation of the joint security simulations. He added that the Saudi security force participating in the exercise, and its counterparts from the GCC's member countries have ended 14 days of field training exercises and the application of simulations on combating multi terrorist acts under a unified command of the operations' theater where they showed professionalism and distinctive capabilities in the use of sophisticated technical equipment in carrying out their tasks for countering terrorism, guarding borders and maintaining security of installations and facilities.
