Commander of the Special Security Forces Major. General Mofleh bin Salim Al-Otaibi inspected today preparations and readiness of the units and divisions of special forces participating in the Joint Tactical Exercise of "Arab Gulf Security 1" to be ensured on the readiness of the human potentials, equipment and armament, which were prepared to participate in the exercise to be carried out in the Kingdom of Bahrain at the end of this current month at Prince Naif Security City. He explained that the exercise aims at raising the efficiency of the security agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, and increasing their ability to counter terrorist acts in addition to the exchange of security expertise among their employees in security fields, especially the area of anti-terrorism. He added that "Arab Gulf Security 1" drill will be carried out in accordance with the security agreement among the GCC's member countries, to widely exchange experiences in the security fields of joint planning and implementation as well as the exchange of security information and taking appropriate decisions, especially in emergency situations.
