Chief of OIC Resigns

The Secretariat-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) announced, in a statement here today, that the Secretary General has resigned.
Secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Dr. Iyad bin Amin Madani has tendered his resignation, for health reasons, according to a statement from the organisation.
Saudi Arabia nominated Yusuf al-Othaimeen, a former minister of social affairs, as Madani's replacement, both are Saudi nationals, at the post of the Secretary General of the OIC.
