Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, Consultant at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, received at his office in Riyadh today a delegation of the foreign relations committee at the U.S. senate. During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the nature of the work provided by the Riyadh-based facility, namely the provision of services and humanitarian assistance for the needy in more than 33 countries in four continents. Then, a discussion on ways of running the relief works was held with the delegation briefed on the executive programs signed between the center and a number of UN organizations in addition to opening branch offices of those organizations at the center. The U.S. delegation expressed satisfaction of what they have seen, citing the center's effort to provide relief and assistance to the needy in Yemen, in particular.
