The Adviser at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah met here yesterday the Head of Delegation of European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee Andrej Plenkovic accompanied by the Head of the Delegation of the European Union Adam Kolakh and a number of the Committee's members. During the meeting, they were briefed on the relief and humanitarian works of the Center; and the programs carried out since its inception; and air, land or sea lifts provided to Yemen, as well as the delivery of aid to the republics of Tajikistan and Mauritania. The delegation toured the Center and saw the offices of the United Nations organizations and works being carried out by them. The Head of the Delegation commended the distinguished efforts being exerted by the Center to serve humanity and end the sufferings of the needy people inside and outside Yemen, praising the Center's professional works and relief programs provided by the Center and its assistance to the affected people in Tajikistan and Mauritania as a result of floods and drought.
