Saudi and Omani Land Forces concluded joint activities of the exercises Mountain 13 which was carried out by units of paratroopers and special forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their counterparts of the Sultanate of Oman in Tabuk. The event was conducted in the presence of Lt. Gen. Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz, the Commander of the Royal Saudi Land Forces and other commanders. The final events, which were held at Prince Khaled bin Sultan Tactical Fighter Center in Tabuk Tuesday evening, included a display carried out by forces of both countries with precision and showed their professionalism and high readiness. The exercise included all types of weapons, drones, paratroopers landing and storming of a simulated city where sabotage groups of a presumed hostile state were holed up. Many plans and military tactics were also conducted with high professionalism. In a press statement, Lt. Gen. Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz highlighted the progress of works and armament of forces explaining that the exercise Mountain 13 comes under the umbrella of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) with the aim of gaining experience and exchanging information between the two sides on a continual basis.
