44th FANA General Assembly Kicked off in Kuwait

Under patronage of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwait Information Minister and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Salem Al-Hmoud Al-Sabah opened here today 44th General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) held in Kuwait.
Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, President of the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), led the Kingdom's delegation to the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the Kuwait Information Minister said that the Arab news agencies perform a crucial role in supporting issues of security and development in the region.
