Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Sharq newspaper commented in its editorial entitled "Kingdom and its position towards the Syrian Revolution", saying that since the outbreak of the Syrian revolution, the Kingdom's position has been firm and fixed and it has not been changed in all meetings to preserve the Syrian people and an effective settlement within transitional legitimacy that satisfies all opposition parties. The paper noted that the Kingdom participated in the meeting in Swiss city of Lausanne which was attended by international powers effective on the ground, indicating that the Kingdom stressed in the meeting its firm stance on Syria and its unity, stability and territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of reaching a peaceful solution that ensures the end of the crisis according to the first Geneva statement and the relevant resolutions of international legitimacy. --More
