Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Madinah newspaper pointed out that the most important strategic and political objectives of the summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC0 for Arab States have been concentrated on the formulation of unified common positions towards political, security and economic issues of interest to these countries within regional, Arab and international frameworks, noting that the Council, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has exerted great efforts to preserve Yemen's unity and support its legitimacy.
