The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday. - The Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the results of the receptions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of the King of Kingdom of Morocco, President of Republic of Sudan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and the Envoy to United States President for International Coalition against ISIS terrorist organization. - The Cabinet welcomed the declaration of Nouakchott and resolutions issued at the conclusion of the 27th Arab summit in Mauritania, expressing its thanks to and appreciation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania's government and people, stressing the Kingdom's assurances before the summit that what is being witnessed in the region and the world of confronting violent extremism and sporadic terrorist acts poses a threat to Arab peoples and nations and international peace and security. - The Cabinet renewed the Kingdom's calls for intensifying efforts at all levels to fight terrorism and extremism in its security, military, financial and intellectual aspects. - The Cabinet stressed the statement's clarification issued by the Command of the Coalition in response to what has been circulated on media quoting a number of non-governmental relief and human rights organizations containing fallacies about health conditions in Yemen and their underestimating of the Coalition's efforts and its positive role in the entry of humanitarian aid to the brotherly Yemeni people. - The Cabinet confirmed that Houthis and followers of Ali Saleh's agreement on forming a political council in the Republic of Yemen is considered as a step to put obstacles in the way to reach a political agreement to end the sufferings of the Yemeni people, and a clear violation of the resolutions of the Arab League, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, United Nations Security Council Resolution 2216, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)'s initiative, its executive mechanism and the outputs of the comprehensive national dialogue. - The Cabinet expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's denunciation of the decision of the Israeli authorities to allow the construction of 770 new housing units in occupied Eastern Al-Quds within the framework of the continued aggression against the State of Palestine, targeting the Palestinian existence and dismembering its unity.
