The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on his talks with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on the bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation between the two countries and the latest developments at the regional and international arenas, and his telephone call made to President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, the message he received from President Nicolas Maduro Moros of the Republic of Venezuela, and his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi said a statement to Saudi Press Agency, following the session that the Cabinet reviewed the latest developments following the end of the Determination Storm Operation after it has achieved its objectives and the start of Renewal of Hope Operation and its contents of objectives confirming the keenness of the coalition countries that the Yemeni people restore their security and stability far away from foreign domination and interventions aiming at inciting sedition and sectarianism so that they can achieve their hopes and ambitions and return to exercise their natural role in the Arab surroundings. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the supreme commander of all military forces, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the armed forces that have participated efficiently and effectively in the Determination Storm Operation and imposed air control to prevent any attack against the Kingdom and the countries of region and during which the Kingdom's brave pilots along with their brothers in the coalition countries were able successfully to eliminate the threat to the security of the Kingdom and neighboring countries, also expressing his thanks to various military participating sectors. The Cabinet expressed its thanks for President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi of the Republic of Yemen for what he expressed on behalf of the Yemeni people of his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and all the brothers in the coalition countries for the immediate response to his appeal for military intervention in Yemen to protect the Yemeni people from aggressive acts of Houthi militias and who allied with them and supported them internally and externally, also expressing its thanks for what the Yemeni President said in his letter that the history of Yemen and the Arab nation will record with the ink of gold the strict historical position, which brought back to the Yemeni people the hope for their future, praying to Allah Almighty for bestowing on sisterly Yemen the unity of ranks and keeping it away from the reasons conflict and division. Then, the Cabinet was briefed on a series of reports on a number of international events, expressing deep sympathy and condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Nepal on the victims of the earthquake that hit it and resulted in thousands of the dead and the injured. The Cabinet also condemned the massacre committed by the terrorist ISIS organization against 30 Ethiopians in Libya, stressing the importance of concerted efforts and international cooperation to eliminate the terrorist organizations, its massacres and terrorist acts that do not differentiate between religion or race. On domestic affairs, the Council of Ministers hailed the successful security agencies for arresting one of the suspects involved in the crime of firing at a security patrol upon instructions from elements belonging to the terrorist ISIS organization in Syria, in an awful crime resulting in martyrdom of the patrol's commander and his colleague, also hailing the detection and follow-up of a criminal network working in smuggling the raw heroin into the Kingdom by land which has been arrested. The Cabinet stressed that this success and thwarting what has been planned embodies the vigilance of security personnel and their sense of security characterized them and how the Kingdom personnel of security or citizens of cooperation, coexistence and keenness on homeland's security in patriotic unity. Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi reported that the Cabinet was briefed on issues on its agenda including topics Majlis Al-Shura took part in their study. He said that the Cabinet was also briefed on the reports of the its General Committee and Experts Bureau and decided the following: First: The Cabinet approved the application of the item (ii) of its Resolution No. (353) dated 21/2011 with regard to individual workers in the activity of farming and herding, to the cases of which the number of workers exceeds six workers at this activity.
