German unemployment held at a record low of 6.1 per
cent in July after the Federal Labour Agency reported a
bigger-than-forecast fall in jobless queues last month, according to dpa.
The numbers out of work in seasonally adjusted terms in Europe's biggest economy fell 7,000 to 2.682 million, the Federal Labour Agency said on Thursday.
The unemployment rate remains at its lowest level since German unification in October 1990.
