6 degrees earthquake hits southern Chile

An earthquake measuring 6 degrees on the Richter scale hit Essen area in southern Chile last night.
The National Center for the Chilean Seismological Centre said the quake identified at a depth of 14.6 Km. There were no immediate reports on any casualties or material losses.
