Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Okaz newspapers commented on terrorism, saying that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been proposing a long term strategic vision to fight extremist and terrorist organizations based on the necessity to have a single international will to confront them, work to resolve crises, end conflicts, and prevent making them attractive environments for terrorists and extremists. The papers noted that the visit of Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Defense Minister to Washington emphasizes the importance of the Kingdom's pivotal role in fighting terrorism, indicating that terrorism has targeted most regions of the Kingdom and it targeted the Prophet's Holy Mosque in the holy month of Ramadan.
