In its editorial today titled "The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Message to Combat Terrorism and Extremism), Alyoum newspaper highlighted the message of this nation's leader, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the nation's scholars (Ulema) that the need to confront the terrorist ideology and extremism is of utmost importance, since they bear on their shoulders a special and significant responsibility for the fight against terrorism and terrorists, and have a pivotal role to criticize the phenomenon of terrorism and disclose its severe dangers to Muslims all over the world. Alyoum newspaper further said that the King's message to the nation's Ulema represents an important and vital point to confront the dangerous "Takfiri" ideas and the need to contain them, and the nation's scholars must play their natural and avant-garde roles to criticize terrorist and extremist ideas from which Muslims in the present time severely suffer.
