An earthquake measuring 5.2 degrees on the Richter scale hit today Chiba district, east Japan. The Japanese Meteorological Agency reported that the quake, which was centered east of Tokyo, shook buildings in the capital. Immediate reports of casualties or damages from the quake were not issued as well as warnings of tsunami waves.
