The European Union today welcomed during a meeting in Luxemburg the French initiative to activate the peace process in the Middle East. In a statement, the European foreign ministers said they are going to continue work, in close coordination with the Quartet, with Palestinians and Israelis and other pertinent parties in the region and outside to reach the two-state solution.
