Bangladesh's Prime Minister Hasina Wazed received at her guest residence here today Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf in the attendance of Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, Minister of Culture and Information, who is the official guide of the visiting delegation. In a statement to SPA following the meeting, Al-Assaf said the meeting dealt with economic relations between the Kingdom and Bangladesh, including the activity of the Saudi Development Fund, the potentials of mutual investments in Bangladesh in addition to the role being played by Bangladeshi workforce in the Kingdom as a positive tool of the Bangladeshi economy through their financial remittances. He said the Bangladeshi Prime Minister is keen to attract Saudi investments in Bangladesh through the facilities being offered by her government to Saudi investors. The meeting was attended by the Saudi ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah bin Hajjaj Al-Mitairi and the official delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
