The Spokesman of Coalition Forces Command, Adviser in the Office of Defense Minister Brigadier Ahmed bin Hassan Asiri stressed that what is stated in the United Nations report, "which claimed that the coalition has committed violations" contradicts the resolutions of the United Nations itself. He said that one among the most important objectives of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen is the protection of the Yemeni people including children from the practices of Houthi militias in the presence of internationally recognized legitimate government which was affirmed by the United Nations resolution No. 2216 ". Regarding the report's equation between the Coalition and Houthi militias, Brigadier Asiri commented in an interview with Al-Arabiyah Net, saying, " The report regrettably equates between the international legitimacy and the legitimacy of the government and coup militias who were a major cause of what is happening in Yemen of instability and chaos, and the United Nations is now at a time that it should support the legitimacy of the Yemeni government and deal with it to take most of its information upon which this report was based from sources close to Houthi militias and this misleads the United Nations reports and the Yemeni and international public opinions''. --More
