Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of topics and issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Youm newspaper commented in its editorial entitled "The politicization of Hajj is rejected", saying that the Kingdom has repeatedly rejected categorically through the Council of Ministers and senior officials the conversion of Hajj season into demonstrations, raised slogans and rallies, considering this as disturbing pilgrims and disrupting Hajj rituals, noting that this refusal is not directed against a particular state, but against all the countries of the world without exception. For its part, Al-Sharq newspaper commended in its editorial entitled "The Kingdom and human rights'' the statement of President of Human Rights Commission, Dr. Bandar Al-Aiban on the Kingdom's cooperation with all international and regional mechanisms which contradict the Islamic Sharia, the core of the Saudi policy towards human rights. --More
