Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, opened here today the Conference on "Muslim Youth in the Face of Terrorism", organized by the League in cooperation with Alsace Muslims League in the city of Strasbourg, France. In a speech during the Conference, Chairman of Alsace Muslims League in France, Dr. Mahfouz Zawi expressed thanks to the Muslim World League for organizing the Conference for explaining the danger of the scourge of terrorism and warn young people from falling into its dangers, stressing that terrorism is not related to Islam in any link and it is a terrible mistake to bind terrorism with Islam because it is the religion of moderation. Then, the MWL Secretary General delivered a speech in which he stressed that the groups that pursue violence and terrorism in the name of religion, contributed to give a bad image of Islam, contrary to its tolerance and moderation, and its confirmation of the sanctity of souls, property and blood, pointing out that it was wrong to link between Islam in its true form, and the contemporary reality of some Muslims, stressing that the message of Islam is to guide individual and social life with its objectives based on humanity and civilization. Dr. Al-Turki also explained that the scourge of terrorism has appeared in numerous past and modern societies, which depends on the behavior of violence and the spread of terror, so, terrorism has no nationality, religion or country.
