Mauritanian President Launches Sunnah Scholars Conference and Its Role in Combating Terrorism, Extremism

Mauritanian President Mohammed Ould Abdulaziz opened here the Sunnah Scholars Conference and its Role in Combating Terrorism and Extremism with participation of Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL).
In his speech, the Mauritanian President stressed importance of the Sunnah scholars in spreading right moderate Islam.
For his part, the MWL secretary general delivered a speech in which he stressed importance of concerted efforts in combating terrorism and extremism.
