Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states strongly condemned continuous brutal shelling on the Syrian city of Aleppo, at the hands of the Syrian regime's forces, resulting in killing and injuring of hundreds of innocent civilians, which increase the devastation and destruction of public amenities, in the city. The Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani said that GCC countries condemn such heinous crimes against unarmed civilians, sons of the steadfast city of Aleppo and consider them as crimes against humanity and call for the UN Security Council, sponsor of a truce, to immediately intervene to stop this escalation which aims to break the will of the Syrian people. GCC countries hold the Syrian regime and the forces supporting it, responsible for the brutal attacks and violent shelling, in the city of Aleppo and increasing of the suffering of innocent civilians, in the city.
