The Secretary General of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)States, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, condemned the persistence of the Syrian regime in inventing methods to continue its brutal killing of the Syrian people and the destruction of Syrian cities, without the slightest regard for human and moral principles and the provisions of international humanitarian law. In a press release today, Al-Zayani also condemned the silence of the international community on the continuation of these brutal crimes committed against the Syrian people, re-appealing to the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to put an end to the continued bloodshed and protect Syrian civilians as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid to them urgently.
