Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Okaz and Al-Youm newspapers commented on the outputs of Riyadh Declaration issued by the meeting of the chiefs of staff of the military Islamic alliance led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which concluded its works the day before yesterday in Riyadh saying that they developed identical visions towards building a common strategy to fight and counter terrorism with various military and preventive measures, including the advantage of employing various media to support the intellectual side against terrorism and extremism, and that the alliance leaders are certain that the military machine will not defeat the scourge of terrorism alone. The papers said that the translation of these visions through the establishment of the Islamic military alliance center to fight terrorism in the Kingdom will be the pivotal turning point in countering terrorism, its sources and roots, and will confirm in time the depth of the political outlook pursued by the Kingdom in countering the scourge of terrorism in all its methods and tricks. The papers noted that Riyadh Declaration was no doubt built on a solid base, visions and honest efforts to save this nation from the evils of terrorism, otherwise the Kingdom wouldn't have succeeded under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in achieving this Islamic alliance, which brought together more than 39 countries, and this list is still expected to rise to include the majority of the countries of the Islamic world, where Riyadh will be the capital of one of the largest alliances the world has seen in recent decades.
