The U.S.-led coalition battling Daesh conducted 19 airstrikes against the extremist group in Syria and Iraq Sunday, the Combined Joint Task Force said Monday. The task force said in a statement that it launched 14 strikes in Syria concentrated near Al Hasakah, where they hit five Daesh tactical units and destroyed four buildings and four vehicles. Other strikes hit near Al Hawl, Ayn Isa, and Dayr Az Zawr. In Iraq, the statement said, five strikes near Fallujah, Mosul, Ramadi, and Sinjar hit four tactical units as well as other targets.
