Turkish Premier Ahmet Davutoglu described his country's relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as extra-excellent, noting that his meeting with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was positive and excellent. In a meeting with the Saudi media, including newspapers' editors-in-chief and reporters as well as the Saudi Press Agency, Davutoglu cast light on his meetings and activities during his current visit to the Kingdom, including his meeting with Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and meetings with a number of officials as well as his meeting with a large number of Saudi businessmen, describing them as fruitful and positive. Davutoglu noted that Turkey has since 13 years ago made great strides in its openness towards Arab countries, confirming that his country's ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the most important step in this regard. He asserted that Turkey attaches great attention to its relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting the importance of high-level visit exchanges in all fields, citing industry, energy, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, real estate and others. Davutoglu drew the attention to the fact that the two countries of Turkey and Saudi Arabia are among the three Islamic countries enjoying the membership of the Group of Twenty. He added that the economies of the Kingdom and Turkey are complimentary to each other, noting that the two countries also enjoy stability with their national gross products among the highest in the Islamic world. --More
