Saudi-Japanese Relations Workshop will be held in Riyadh next Sunday. Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Jiro Kodera described in a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) his country's ties with the Kingdom as excellent, noting that the relations between the two countries entered into in April 2013, a new phase following the visit of the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the recent visit to Japan by Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy premier and Minister of defense, adding that the two countries have sought to consolidate bilateral relations in several areas. He indicated that Japan is the second trade partner of the Kingdom and the Kingdom is an important trade partner for Japan.
