A large number of Saudi officials, businessmen, academics and ordinary citizens highlighted the first anniversary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's accession to power. They stressed that in the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the kingdom has made great achievements and major shifts in the educational, economic, agricultural, industrial, cultural, social and physical areas. They praised the foreign policy of the Kingdom in defending Arab rights and leading the Arab and Islamic joint action to address challenges facing Arabs and Muslims, such as security issues including terrorism and the negative interventions by some external parties. Those who spoke on this occasion included Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Yamani, director of Prince Sultan University, Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Hasan, director general of the Red Crescent in Qassim region, Suleiman bin Hassan Al-Zughaibi, director general of the Ministry of Civil Service in Qassim region, Fekri Al-Tuwian, general manager of passenger sales and services in Europe for Saudi Arabian Airlines and Major General Nasser Bin Saleh Aldojse, Jizan region police chief. They also included Sheikh Salah Al-Budair, imam and preacher of the Prophet's Mosque and the judge in the Court of Appeal in Medina, Abdulrahman bin Mehanna Al-Juhani, director general of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Makkah, Walid bin Ghazi Bafakih, director general of the Ministry of Culture and Information in Makkah and Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohamed bin Abdullah Al-Mahanah, Chief of General Commission for Guardianship over Property of Minors and Persons of Similar Status. They also included a number of employees of education in Jazan, a number of officials Al-Laith province, people of Khaybar province and governor of Tayma province Sultan bin Sultan Shakhboot and a number of officials in the province.
