Puerto Rico's police force says it has launched the largest crackdown on illegal firearms in the history of the U.S. territory, according to AP. Police Chief Jose Caldero said Monday that 135 of 220 suspects have been arrested as part of a yearlong undercover operation. He said the suspects are accused of selling 126 illegal firearms. They include two government workers, a private school teacher, a nurse and a commercial pilot. Caldero said most of the weapons originated from Florida and arrived via mail. He said AK-47 rifles were among those seized.
