A wild coyote was captured by Horr County Animal Control after making its way into Myrtle Beach International Airport on Tuesday. The coyote was spotted running through a terminal, according to UPI. "Animal control caught him and DNR took custody," the Horr County Police Department wrote on Twitter. "No bites-all safe." Airport spokesman Kirk Lovell told Myrtle Beach Online that the coyote seemingly entered the airport through the baggage area, sneaking past security to make its way to the terminal. The airport shut down a Transportation Security Administration checkpoint in order to allow animal control to capture the coyote, but otherwise airport operations continued without delay. Animal control officers cornered and tased the animal before removing it from the airport. It was then required to be euthanized, because coyotes are considered a nuisance in the area.
