Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met here today with Ismail Chergui, African Union Commissioner for Peace and Security; Pierre Buyoya, Former President of Burundi and African Union High Representative for Mali and Sahel; Francisco Madeira, Head of the African Union Mission in Somalia; and Abdelhamid Bouzaher, African Union's Permanent Representative to the Arab League. The meeting reviewed a set of African issues and developments in Libya, particularly the reconciliation agreement between Tuareg and Tebu tribes, which was recently signed under the brokerage of Qatar.
