New Zealand and Vietnam signed three bilateral agreements Sunday to bolster ties in aviation, health and education following a meeting between their leaders in Hanoi, local media said, according to dpa. New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said the deals marked a "new era" in relations between the two countries, Stuff.co.nz reported. Key met with Vietnam President Nguyen Tan Dung ahead of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum, which will be hosted next week in Manila. New Zealand earlier said it hopes to double its trade with Vietnam by 2020, Radio New Zealand reported.
