United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received here on Monday at Al Bateen Palace Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, who is currently visiting the country, WAM reported. Sheikh Khalifa welcomed the Vietnamese official and the delegation accompanying him, adding that the visit would bolster the relations and open avenues for cooperation and friendship between the two countries. He added that the UAE was looking forward to building stronger ties with all people worldwide, particularly with the East Asia countries, which already have the economic ties with the UAE. He reiterated that the UAE was keen to boost bilateral relations and exchange expertise to achieve mutual interests. On his part, the Vietnamese PM expressed his pleasure on visiting the UAE and meeting Sheikh Khalifa. He conveyed the regards of Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet to Sheikh Khalifa. Dung added that his country was keen to develop the relations with the UAE, which "is playing vital regional and international role". He noted that the visit would open wider trade and investment opportunities to both countries. Dung lauded the prosperity being experienced by the UAE. On his part, Sheikh Khalifa conveyed his regards to the Vietnamese President.
