Thailand, Vietnam to increase trade to 20 billion dollars by 2020

Thailand and Vietnam agreed to nearly double
bilateral trade after talks in Bangkok on Thursday, dpa reported.
Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha and Vietnamese Premier Nguyen
Tan Dung pledged to increase trade to 20 billion dollars by 2020,
from 11.8 billion dollars in 2014.
The two leaders also issued a joint statement calling for a
resolution to the ongoing territorial disputes in the South-China
Sea. It called for a code of conduct to guide future talks on the
sensitive issue.
