Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh and Al-Sharq newspapers commented on the Group of Twenty Summit in Turkey today, saying that the Kingdom's presence in this group as the only Arab state reflects its status and economic and political weight, as it constitutes at the same time a heavy burden on the Kingdom to defend the interests of the Arab world which is witnessing a stage of polarization and historical changes.
The papers noted that the summit in which the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud heads the Kingdom's delegation confirms Riyadh's commitment to participate in the formulation of international resolutions and contribution to solutions at global political and economic levels.
