Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation and Explanation started its 37th session here today. The Competition's finals will be held in the new expansion at the Grand Mosque with the participation of 124 competitors from 66 countries. It aims to encourage youth to memorize the holy Quran, learn its exegesis, practice its teachings and seek to spread awareness of the importance of the holy Quran among Muslims.
