Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta will resign, dpa quoted the president of his Socialist Party PSD, Liviu Dragnea, as telling state television Wednesday. Ponta, 43, has come under pressure from protests related to the government reaction to a weekend nightclub blaze that left 32 dead.
