The permanent delegates to the Arab League held a consultative meeting today in Cairo under the chairmanship of Saudi ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Qattan in the presence of Deputy Secretary-General of the League Ambassador Ahmed Bin Helli, to discuss the draft of Riyadh Declaration to be issued at the conclusion of 4th Arab Summit with South American countries to be held in Riyadh on November 10th to 11th. Ambassador Qattan stressed in his opening speech the importance of this meeting for discussing the preparations for the 4th Arab-South American Summit, expressing his hope that the Riyadh summit will conclude with success and contribute to the consolidation of Arab relations with South American countries in all political, economic and social fields.
