Presided over by Sudan, the 31 session of Arab permanent representatives kicked off today at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo in preparation for the meeting to be held by Arab Foreign Ministers on Tuesday. At the meeting, Saudi permanent representative Ambassador Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan delivered a speech in which he lauded the speech given by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the Kuwait Economic Summit. Ambassador Qattan stressed that the speech is a clear sign of the King's far-sightedness as well as determination to rebuild the nation's unity and to overcome all past divisions and feuds. --More
