The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon.
- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the contents of the message sent to the President of Arab Republic of Egypt, telephone calls received from President of Russian Federation, President of Republic of Turkey, and President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistanand the results of his meetings with Prime Minister of Kingdom of Bahrain, Prime Minister of Ethiopia, and Secretary of State of the United States of America.
- The Cabinet was briefed on the latest developments in the region and various international efforts in this regard, and the results of the quadrilateral meeting with the participation of the Kingdom's Minister of Foreign Affairs and his counterparts from the United States of America, the Russian Federation and Republic of Turkey to discuss the situation in Syria and find a solution to end the crisis of the Syrian people.
- The Cabinet was briefed on the results of Minister of Foreign Affairs' visits to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Austria.
- The Cabinet reviewed the celebration of the United Nations on the 70th anniversary of its foundation, stressing that the changes and challenges being witnessed in the modern world impose on everyone to strengthen the role of the United Nations, activate its institutions and promote efforts to reform the international organization so that it can keep abreast of developments at the international arena.
- The Cabinet renewed the appreciation of the Kingdom, which was one of signatory and founding states of the Charter of the United Nations, for the efforts being exerted to improve the work of the Security Council and its reform, as well as the Kingdom's readiness to cooperate with other member states to achieve this noble objective.
- The Cabinet commended Saline Water Conversion Corporation's winning two awards from the World Water Summit, stressing that the Kingdom's top position in this important strategic industry embodies the King's support for this important vital sector.
