General President of Grand Mosque and Prophet's Mosque Affairs hands covering of Kaaba to great servants

AlQa'dah 29, 1436, September 13, 2015, SPA -- The General President of Grand Holy Mosque and Prophet's Holy Mosque Affairs Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais will hand over the new covering of Kaaba on Monday evening to the great servants of the Grand Holy Mosque, as it is a custom on an annual basis at the headquarters of the covering of Kaaba factory in Makkah.
The cost of making the covering of Kaaba is estimated at more than SR 22 million annually, and it is made of about 700 kilo grams of raw silk, and 120 kilo grams of silver and gold wires.
