AlQa'dah 6, 1436, Aug 21, 2015, SPA -- China shares dived again on Friday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was down 4.27 per cent at closing, dpa reported. On Thursday, the index closed down 3.42 per cent, on Wednesday the index closed 1.23 per cent higher after sharp fluctuations and on Tuesday, the index plunged 6.15 per cent. The Shenzhen Component Index on Friday closed down 5.42 per cent and the ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style index of growth enterprises, plunged 6.65 per cent. Analysts told dpa the instability was related to low public confidence in the economy, after recent figures showed drops in imports and exports. Destruction caused by the explosions in Tianjin and the recent surprise currency devaluations could also be reasons for the fall, analysts said.
