AlQa'dah 01, 1436, August 16, 2015, SPA -- Brazilian officials say a team of photographers on contract to Rio de Janeiro's city government were mugged while covering a road cycling test event for next year's Olympics in Rio, according to AP. The Rio state security secretariat said in a statement that no one was injured in Sunday's incident, which saw the thieves make off with a camera and cellphones. A report on the G1 Internet news site said two armed men on a motorcycle targeted the five-member team in Rio's western Barra da Tijuca neighborhood early Sunday morning as they prepared to cover the race. The muggers didn't take a video camera only because the team member holding it wasn't yet in place, the report said. The cycling event stretched over 165 kilometers (102 miles) in western Rio and its suburbs.
