Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization to import 505,000 tons of wheat

The General Organization for Grain Silos and Flour Mills has completed procedures for awarding the third installment of imported wheat for the year 1436/1437 with a quantity of 505,000 tons of hard wheat from European, American (North and South), Australian and Canadian origins.
The Organization's Director General Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris explained in a statement today that the arrival of the third installment will be during the period from (September to November) this year on board 9 ships, so as to cover the needs for domestic consumption, support the Organization's stocks of wheat and maintain its strategic reserve.
