Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization has announced that it will import the first batch of wheat for the year 1436/1437AH amounting to 690,000 tons of European, Australian, or North and South American origins. The Organization's Acting Director General Engineer Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Ruwaitie' pointed out that the batch will arrive at the Kingdom's sea ports on board 12 ships during the months of April and May. He predicted that the total number of the imported wheat for this year will be (3.2) million tons, in addition to domestic wheat amounting to 425,000 tons.
